Joe Faust (President)
Joe faust serves as president of dakota development and has over 30 years of large scale hospitality, restaurant & nightlife development experience.
Faust is involved in every aspect of the development process including branding,
design, and construction. He specializes in hand picking designers and excels in his ability to translate designers' visions into cost-effective reality.
Under his direction, Dakota Development have successfully delivered notable projects such as SLS Hotels in Beverly Hills, South Beach, and Las Vegas; as well as Redbury Hotels in Hollywood and Miami. Joe has also built dozens of the nations hottest restaurants and nightlife venues including Katsuya by Starck, Bazaar by Jose Andres,The Sayers Club, and Hyde Lounge.
Prior to starting Dakota Development, Faust spent 15 years at the Hyatt Hotels
Corporation, where he directed the development and renovation of 40 hotels and timeshare projects in the U.S. and Caribbean totaling over $1 billion dollars.
Joe graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.
